EPR widens recycling for fluorescent bulbs, batteries

A bright idea that will keep batteries and fluorescent lights out of landfills was put into action in Langley, starting on July 1. The provincial governments Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Program will be expanded to include household batteries and fluorescent tubes and bulbs.
